Caged Ball Bearing Print-in-Place
This is a print-in-Place fully printed ball bearing. Each bearing ball has a shaft that connects to the bed which allows it to be printed in place, and keeps the balls from rotating, The cage allows for smother rotation of the balls. Give it a try it works surprising well! Its just a demo, not a 608. It has a 8mm ID and a 35mm OD.
There are three difference clearances; .000", .0025", .005". This is the clearance between the balls and the inner and outer race, per side. Since the balls and races are rounded the contact surfaces are small allowing a small amount of clearance. On my printer both the .0025" and .005" spin very freely right off the printer but were a little sloppy. The .000(zero) clearance version needed a to be broke in but the bearing was very tight.
